Actress Indira Krishnan recently expressed admiration for her co-star Ranbir Kapoor, sharing a heartfelt message on social media after spending time with him during the shoot of the much-awaited film Ramayana: Part 1. The actress posted a cheerful picture with Ranbir on Instagram and thanked him for guiding her with valuable acting tips.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the mythological epic is one of the most anticipated Indian films in recent years and is slated for release during Diwali 2026. The film is the first installment of a planned cinematic duology based on the ancient epic Ramayana.

Sharing the picture with Ranbir, Indira wrote an emotional caption appreciating the actor’s talent and generosity. She quoted acting coach Scott Freeman, who once said that the three most important tools for any actor are lived experience, imagination and empathy.

Star-studded cast of Ramayana
In the ambitious mythological drama, Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi has been cast as Goddess Sita. Actor Yash will appear as the powerful antagonist Ravana, and Sunny Deol will portray Lord Hanuman.
Indira Krishnan will be seen playing Queen Kaushalya, the mother of Lord Ram. The film also features a strong supporting cast including Ravi Dubey, Arun Govil and Lara Dutta in significant roles.
Reunion after Animal
Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor and Indira Krishnan previously worked together in the blockbuster Animal, where Indira played Ranbir’s mother. Their reunion in Ramayana: Part 1 has already created excitement among fans who appreciated their earlier on-screen dynamic.
