The controversy has also brought back the discussion about religion that had previously surrounded their relationship. During a podcast, Himanshi spoke about the role religion played in her relationship with Asim. She clarified that Asim often spoke to her about his faith and wanted her to understand and accept it. She reportedly explained that he used to talk about the positive aspects of his religion and wanted her to understand those beliefs, but she did not describe it as a direct conversation in which he asked her to change her religion.
Asim, however, strongly denied ever asking Himanshi or anyone else to change their religion. In a long social media statement, he said, “I never asked anyone to change their religion, not once.” He also said that religion is a deeply sensitive subject and should not be used as a weapon in a personal argument. According to him, using such a sensitive topic to create hatred is immature.

Asim also appeared to respond to claims that Himanshi played an important role in his career and financial success. He made it clear that he believes he built his career through his own hard work and does not need anyone else to take credit for what he has achieved. He even mentioned that if people really wanted to know who has more money or who has less, bank statements could settle the matter, but he added that money was never a measure of character.
The former Bigg Boss contestant also took a dig at people who continue discussing his old relationship years later. He suggested that bringing someone else’s past relationship and personal life into public discussions only creates more gossip and said that such conversations reveal more about the person discussing them than about the people involved.
Asim also made a personal remark about the person discussing the relationship, criticising him for sitting behind a microphone and talking about other people’s lives while commenting on his appearance. He suggested that perhaps the person should spend less time discussing other people and more time focusing on himself and going to the gym.
Meanwhile, Himanshi has not appeared to directly respond to Asim’s latest allegations. Instead, she shared a peaceful vacation picture on her Instagram Story, writing about enjoying a peaceful day. Her decision to stay away from the controversy has also caught the attention of fans, who are now waiting to see whether she will eventually respond to Asim’s claims.
