Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s relationship was once one of the most talked-about romances in Bollywood. The two actors reportedly grew close while working on Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and later dated for several years. However, one of their co-stars from the film, actor Vishwanath, has now shared that he never witnessed any signs of romance between them while they were shooting.
In a recent interview, Vishwanath was asked whether Ranbir and Katrina’s relationship was visible on the sets of the film. He dismissed the idea, saying that the atmosphere on set was highly disciplined because of director Rajkumar Santoshi.
According to Vishwanath, everyone on the set was completely focused on their work and respected the director’s way of filmmaking. He described Rajkumar Santoshi as a strict yet caring filmmaker who kept his actors deeply involved in their characters and the story.
He said that he never saw Ranbir and Katrina behaving like a couple during breaks or between scenes and that the entire cast remained professional throughout the shoot.
While talking about the film, Vishwanath had nothing but praise for Katrina Kaif’s work ethic. He revealed that the actress impressed everyone with her dedication, fitness and commitment to performing difficult scenes.
He recalled one particular sequence where Katrina had to climb a ladder from a boat and reach a bridge. According to him, she completed the physically demanding shot with ease, leaving the entire team surprised by her stamina.
He also praised the actress for working hard on her dialogue delivery and speech, saying that when it came to dedication, Katrina stood out among the entire cast.
Vishwanath added that the atmosphere on the sets was filled with fun and friendship, and the cast members shared a great bond while working together.
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif reportedly became close during the making of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Although they initially maintained that they were just friends, rumours about their relationship continued to grow as they were frequently seen together at public events, family gatherings and vacations.
