Actress Sreeleela’s mother Dr. Swarnalatha firmly denied dating rumours involving cricketer Tilak Varma. The speculation reportedly started after a light-hearted conversation involving Mumbai Indians players Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma. Rumours soon spread online claiming Sreeleela and Tilak had been dating for over a year. However, Sreeleela’s team clarified that both personalities have never even met or spoken to each other. After 17 days, the film crossed Rs 84 crore nett in India. What makes the achievement even more special is that the movie achieved this milestone without a significant overseas release, unlike many other large-scale Indian films. With its current momentum, trade experts expect the film to surpass Sairat’s lifetime record soon.

The trailer of Peddi starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor was recently launched at Mumbai’s Jio World Drive.
