The much-anticipated Odia film Mantra Muughda that released in theatres on May 1st, 2026 has raked in 73.17 lakhs in three days, marking a significant jump of 200% over the first weekend.
With fresh faces as an ensemble cast, the film manages to attain the third highest opening ever in Odisha. The film also marks the year’s first highest opening in the state .
Mantra Muugdha is released over 29 cities across Odisha including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack & Rourkela, considered to be the biggest one so far. The film also witnessed the limited released in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Anupam Patnaik, the film is produced by Amiya Patnaik Productions, a banner with over 42 years of legacy in Odia cinema.
