Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda tied the knot in Udaipur on February 26, and ever since, glimpses from their wedding festivities have continued to trend online. Now, new details about the bride’s preparation have caught fans’ attention, revealing how quickly Rashmika got ready for her big day.
“Just 40 minutes to get me ready,” says Rashmika
In a recent appearance on Masoom Minawala’s podcast, makeup artist Tanvi Chemburkar shared behind-the-scenes details from the wedding day preparations. She revealed that Rashmika arrived after barely any rest due to an event the previous night.
According to her, Rashmika initially told the team, “Guys, you have just 40 minutes to get me ready,” though the team eventually took slightly longer to complete the look.
Chemburkar added that the entire bridal transformation—from start to finish—was completed in about one and a half hours.
“She was radiating with so much joy… even while walking down the aisle, you could see that excitement on her face,” she said, noting that Rashmika’s happiness played a big role in her natural glow.
A wedding filled with simplicity and celebration
The wedding, which took place in Udaipur, was followed by a reception in Hyderabad on March 4 for industry friends and close acquaintances.
In a heartfelt message shared after the ceremony, the couple expressed gratitude to fans and announced their intention to celebrate with the public by distributing sweets across India.
Nationwide celebrations with sweets and charity
As part of their post-wedding gesture, the couple sent trucks filled with sweets to multiple cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Chennai, Jaipur, Kochi, and several others.
They also announced charitable annadanam initiatives at temples across the country, saying they wanted to share their joy with people who have supported their journey.
The couple’s post-wedding celebrations have since been widely appreciated by fans for their simplicity, warmth, and nationwide outreach.
