Sooryavanshi’s Breakout Form Continues

Sooryavanshi’s blistering knock also saw him rise to the top of the tournament’s run-scoring charts. The left-handed batter now has 200 runs from just four matches, including two rapid half-centuries. Both fifties came in explosive fashion—against Chennai Super Kings and RCB—where he reached the milestone in just 15 deliveries.

He also played a crucial role in a 108-run partnership with Dhruv Jurel, who contributed a vital 81 off 43 balls to help Rajasthan complete the chase.

RCB Post Competitive Total

Earlier in the match, Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted 201/8 in their 20 overs. Captain Rajat Patidar led the innings with a solid 63-run knock. RCB struggled at 125/7 before a late push from impact substitute Venkatesh Iyer, who added 29 runs off 15 balls to take the team to a respectable total.

Despite RCB’s efforts, Sooryavanshi’s explosive batting and RR’s strong chase ultimately stole the spotlight, along with Kohli’s touching gesture that became one of the defining moments of the match.
