The official logline teases a darker and more intense narrative: as the city rebuilds after World War II, power struggles intensify, and at the center stands Duke Shelby—older, wiser, and far more dangerous.
Casting Changes and Expanding Ensemble
The character of Duke Shelby was previously portrayed by Barry Keoghan in The Immortal Man. However, Jamie Bell will now take over the role for the series, signaling a fresh direction for the character.
Joining Bell is Charlie Heaton, known for his roles in Stranger Things and Industry. The ensemble cast also includes Jessica Brown Findlay, Lashana Lynch, and Lucy Karczewski.
