Dhurandhar 2 Music Composer Shashwat Sachdev Credits Aditya Dhar for Early Belief

New Delhi, March 19: As Dhurandhar: The Revenge hits theatres, the film continues to make headlines not only for its action-packed sequences and stellar performances but also for its acclaimed music. Music composer Shashwat Sachdev, who created the film’s powerful background score, has revealed how director Aditya Dhar believed in him long before he had a music album to his credit.

Early Faith in Talent

In a conversation with Filmfare, Sachdev recounted, “I met Aditya Dhar in 2016. Right around the time I met Rhea Kapoor, I met him because he was making a film called Raat Baki, which eventually became Dhoom Dhaam. I had zero released music under my name. He still believed in me. He still loved me for who I was. And he was so sure about me and my work, as unsure and as unclear as I am today about myself.”

Sachdev also noted that Dhar wanted him to score Uri: The Surgical Strike, but he had hesitations at the time. “He really believed in me. He is also a very important and special kind of landmark for me in Mumbai,” Sachdev added.
