Salim Khan’s Health Improving, To Be Discharged Soon: Arbaaz Khan
Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, 90, is showing signs of recovery and is expected to be discharged from Lilavati Hospital soon, according to his son, actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan. Salim Khan has been under treatment for nearly a month following a minor brain haemorrhage.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday night after attending an iftar party in Mumbai, Arbaaz said,
“He’s better now, he’s improving.”
When asked about his father’s discharge, he added simply,
“Soon.”
Hospitalization and Treatment
Salim Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital on February 17 after experiencing a minimal brain haemorrhage. He underwent a minor medical procedure last month and was placed under close observation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). While initial reports stated that he was stable, the hospital maintained strict monitoring due to his age and the complexity of his condition.
Dr. Jalil Parkar, Salim Khan’s treating physician, had earlier clarified that no further medical bulletins would be issued regarding the screenwriter’s health, in accordance with the family’s wishes.
