Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao gave fans a nostalgic treat as they reunited at a Diwali party hosted by Ayushmann and his wife, Tahira Kashyap, at their Mumbai residence. The two actors, who shared the screen in the 2017 film Bareilly Ki Barfi, were seen dancing together to the song Yeh Prem Mol Liya. Their cheerful reunion has caught the attention of fans on social media.
Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao Dance Together at Diwali Party
Ayushmann shared a video from the celebrations on his Instagram account, giving fans a glimpse of the fun-filled evening. In the clip, he and Rajkummar can be seen dancing side by side to the title track of Yeh Prem Mol Liya.
The moment became even more entertaining as casting director Mukesh Chhabra, actors Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana cheered for the duo before joining them on the dance floor. Ayushmann and Rajkummar held hands and danced with big smiles, bringing back memories of their popular on-screen pairing.
Sharing the video, Ayushmann wrote, “Prem waali Diwaali sab ke saath,” which means celebrating a Diwali filled with love with everyone.
A Sweet Bareilly Ki Barfi Reunion
Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao worked together in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s 2017 romantic comedy Bareilly Ki Barfi. The film also featured Kriti Sanon in the lead role and became a favourite among audiences.
The story revolved around Bitti Mishra, played by Kriti, and her two suitors, Chirag Dubey, played by Ayushmann, and Pritam Vidrohi, portrayed by Rajkummar. Rajkummar’s transformation from a seemingly shy and simple man into a confident character was particularly appreciated by viewers.
Their reunion at the Diwali celebration reminded fans of the film and the chemistry between its cast members.

Tahira Kashyap Shares Glimpses of the Diwali Celebration
The party was attended by several personalities from the film industry, including Bhushan Kumar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta, Amar Kaushik, Sara Ali Khan, Akash Kaushik and Arjun Kapoor.
Earlier, Tahira had also shared a glimpse of the celebrations on Instagram. She revealed that the evening was filled with family, friends, music and dancing. In her caption, she mentioned that Mumbai had become home for them and that their friends had become an extended family.
Tahira also shared that the celebrations continued until the early hours of the morning, with everyone dancing until their feet hurt.
Ayushmann Khurrana’s Upcoming Film Yeh Prem Mol Liya
Meanwhile, Ayushmann is preparing for the release of his upcoming film Yeh Prem Mol Liya, directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya. The film also stars Sharvari as the female lead and marks Ayushmann’s entry into the much-loved Rajshri-style family entertainer.
The recently released title track, sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Nihal Tauro, features Ayushmann and Sharvari against the backdrop of wedding celebrations and family gatherings.
The film brings back the popular Rajshri character Prem to the big screen after 12 years, with Ayushmann stepping into the role. Its story explores a relationship that begins with friendship and gradually develops into love, while highlighting the contrast between modern romance and traditional joint-family values.
The ensemble cast includes Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, Seema Pahwa and Saumya Tandon. Produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films, Yeh Prem Mol Liya is scheduled to release in theatres on November 27, 2026.
