Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff and his family have been left shaken after gunmen allegedly opened fire at his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday. Following the incident, actress Disha Patani was reportedly seen arriving at Tiger’s residence to check on him, drawing attention from paparazzi and fans.
Videos shared by paparazzi showed Disha getting out of her car and quickly heading inside the residence. Her arrival sparked conversations on social media, with some fans wondering whether the former couple still shares a close bond. However, neither Tiger nor Disha has publicly confirmed that they have rekindled their relationship, and her visit alone does not establish their current relationship status.
Tiger Shroff’s Car Targeted by Gunmen in Juhu
According to reports, Tiger was returning after playing football at the public ground in Pushpak Park, Juhu, when three bike-borne assailants allegedly opened fire at his vehicle. At least five rounds were reportedly fired.
Tiger escaped without a gunshot injury, but his driver and an autorickshaw driver were reportedly injured in the incident. Reports stated that Tiger sustained minor injuries to his left hand from gunpowder and broken glass and was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition was reported to be stable.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reportedly visited Tiger’s residence following the incident to offer support during the difficult time. Shinde said the actor and his family were shaken and assured them that the government would take the incident seriously.
Police Investigate as Forensic Team Examines the Scene
Mumbai Police have launched an investigation into the firing and are working to identify and apprehend the alleged attackers. A forensic team reportedly visited the scene to collect evidence, examine the affected vehicles and establish details about the number of rounds fired.
Police are also analysing CCTV footage from the surrounding area as part of the investigation.
Soon after the shooting, two people identified in social media posts as alleged operatives of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, reportedly claimed responsibility. A message accompanying the claim allegedly warned people in the Mumbai film industry who continued to work with Salman Khan.
The claims have not been independently verified, and the investigation is ongoing.
Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff’s Past Relationship
Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff have long been the subject of relationship rumours. The two worked together in the 2018 action film Baaghi 2 and also appeared in the music video Befikra. Over the years, they were frequently spotted together during outings, dinner dates and holidays, leading to widespread speculation about their relationship.
Neither actor publicly confirmed the relationship. In July 2022, reports emerged that the two had separated after dating for nearly six years. Despite the reported split, they were said to have remained cordial.
Disha’s reported visit to Tiger’s home after the firing has now renewed interest in their connection. Some fans interpreted her quick arrival as a sign that she remains concerned about him, while others urged people not to draw conclusions about their relationship based on a single incident.
Fans Send Prayers and Support to Tiger and His Family
The firing incident has raised serious concerns about the safety of actors and their families. As police continue their investigation, fans have been expressing support for Tiger and wishing him and his loved ones strength during this difficult time.
At such a moment, the priority remains Tiger’s recovery and the safety of his family, along with a thorough investigation to bring those responsible to justice.
We pray that Tiger Shroff and his family find strength, courage and peace during this difficult time, and that everyone injured in the incident makes a full recovery.
